Remembrance – Salvation Army Parade

For information 12:15 to 16:00 Sunday 10 November 2024

On Sunday 10 November, at approximately 1215 up to 200 members of the Salvation Army will parade from Princes Street W1 via Regent Street, Coventry Street, Leicester Square, Irving Street, St Martin’s Place, (wreath to be laid at Edith Cavell statue), Trafalgar Square, and Charing Cross into Whitehall where they will hold a short service at the Cenotaph.

At 1445 hours they will then return to Princes Street via Trafalgar Square, Cockspur Street, Pall Mall, Waterloo Place, Regent Street, Piccadilly Circus, Regent Street and Princes Street where they will disperse.

It is the intention of the Metropolitan Police to control this parade as a “Bubble” and for traffic to follow the parade, therefore all drivers are asked not to try and pass.

While NO diversions are planned for this event it could cause delays to services that operate routes that either cross the parade or follow it.
