Important Travel Information for February Half Term – Port of Dover

DFDS have released the following important information regarding travel through the Port of Dover during the February half term:

Key Information for Travel:

Boatyard/Cruise Terminal Update: This year, the boatyard and cruise terminal will not be used during half term. Coaches are required to head directly to the Eastern Docks.

Arrival Times: Coaches should only arrive within their 3-hour booking window. Arriving early will result in being turned away.

Delays Expected: With increased traffic, delays are likely. Please ensure your coach toilet is available, and that passengers have access to food and water during the journey.

Passenger Readiness: Ensure that all passengers have their passports open and ready before reaching Border Controls to expedite the process.

Passenger Numbers: Final numbers, including the split between adults and children, must be submitted no later than 5 days before departure.

Contact Details: Please ensure we have the contact details for your group leader or driver. This is essential in case we need to reach your group on the day of travel.

Check-in Time: Check-in should be completed at least 2 hours before departure.
