Blackwall Tunnel will be closed to southbound traffic during the following times:
- From 23:00 on Friday 15 until 06:00 on Saturday 16 November
- From 23:00 on Saturday 16 until 05:00 on Sunday 17 November
This is while works continue to complete the new road layout, as part of the Silvertown Tunnel construction.
The tunnel will remain open to northbound traffic during these times.
Due to these closures and other works in the area, on Sunday 17 November we expect roads and alternative river crossings in east and central London to be extremely busy with long delays to your journey. Queues are expected westbound on the A13 and A11 towards central London from the junctions with the A12, and on the approaches to Rotherhithe Tunnel throughout the weekend
