Tower Bridge

Tower Bridge will be closed from 22:00 until 05:00 each night for City of London bridge works. (taken from the TfL website)

Central London

From 10:00 until 16:00, a march will take place from Sandall Street (opposite Waterloo station) to Whitehall via York Road and Westminster Bridge. Large crowds and increased traffic levels are expected.

Twickenham Stadium

From 14:00 until 17:00, Twickenham Stadium will host a rugby match, with kick off at 15:00. Large crowds and increased traffic levels are expected before and after the match.

O2 Arena

From 18:30 until 22:30, the O2 Arena will host a music event. Large crowds and increased traffic levels are expected before and after the event.

Wembley Arena

From 19:00 until 23:00, Wembley Arena will host a boxing event. Large crowds and increased traffic levels are expected before and after the event.

Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 February

Trafalgar Square

From 10:00 until 18:00 each day, an annual cultural event will take place. There will be road closures in place around Trafalgar Square throughout the day. Large crowds and increased traffic levels are expected.

Emirates Stadium

From 15:30 until 18:30, Emirates Stadium will host a football match, with kick off at 16:30. Large crowds and increased traffic levels are expected before and after the match.

Large vehicle transportation

From 18:00 on Friday and Saturday, a large vehicle will be transported from Tilbury Docks in Essex across south east and south west London, arriving at Bengeworth Road in Camberwell by 04:00 the following mornings. Increased traffic levels and delays are expected along the route of travel.

Lambeth Bridge will be closed to all motorised vehicles and cyclists between 21:30 and 05:00 each night.

Use alternative river crossings. This is part of safety improvement works to replace the unsignalised roundabouts at either end of Lambeth Bridge with signal-controlled junctions.

This an initial heads up that major gas works will be taking place on Victoria Street from 17 February to 12 April 2025. This will involve the following closures:

• Tothill Street
• Victoria Street (eastbound) Broad Sanctuary to Buckingham Gate.
• Abbey Orchard Street

For information – Pall Mall westbound will be closed on the 1 February 2025 between Waterloo Place and St James Street.

Two week closure of the VCS Arrivals Terminal from the normal closing time on 19 January to normal reopening time on 8 February 2025.

Below are planned closure dates of the Piccadilly underpass in 2025

Programme:

• Westbound Closure: 13 January to 14 March
• Eastbound Closure: 14 March to 16 May
• Full Closure: 16 May to 18 July

due to commence on 7th  January to 2 February 2025

Due to major works by Cadent Gas Lower Sloane Street will be closed northbound only between Sloane Gardens and Sloane Square.
